** For recent prayer needs, check our Breaking Prayer Flash centre.
As we approach our Heavenly Father and King of Kings it is good to check ourselves before we pray. We can approach in confidence knowing that our sin is forgiven through our Saviour.
James 5:16: "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
It is our calling and privilege to pray for Israel. It is good to give thanks to God. Here are some points to consider from the week.
Funding Of Terror
Ayala Shapira, 13, spoke on Tuesday about the impact of a Molotov cocktail landing on the car seat next to her in December 2014, as she urged the European Union in Brussels to stop the Palestinian Authority from funding terrorism.
While their lives have changed for the worse, the life of the terrorists' families have changed for the better, because they receive a monthly salary from the Palestinian Authority.
"This is money they receive from you, from the countries of the European Union, who transfer hundreds of millions of euros a year to the Palestinian Authority without any supervision," Ayala's mother Ruth said.
PRAY that the EU will listen and stop funding the PA.
PRAY for the innocent lives affected on a daily basis by the terror incidents.
Amona Families Given New Homes In Shiloh
The families who lost their homes when they were evacuated from Amona will be re-housed. The government have unanimously approved housing for them.
GIVE THANKS for PM Netanyahu keeping his word to these people that they will be re housed.
PRAY that the talks between the US and Israel about settlements are in line with God's will and that the areas of land that He gave to His people will be honoured. Romans 13:1: "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God and those that exist have been instituted by God."
PRAY that the Israeli government will not concede when they need to be firm.
The time of Passover approaches on the 10th April.
PRAY for families who will gather to celebrate this important feast.
ASK GOD to speak through the meanings of this Passover that people will see that the Lamb of God is their saviour. John 1:29: "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.
PRAY for all those who have made Aliyah and will celebrate Passover in their new homeland. May this be a significant time and one when their eyes are opened to their Saviour.
PRAY that many more Jews will return to their homeland and settle there.
Thank you for joining us in praying. May God bless you.
Have a wonderful Shabbat and blessed weekend.
