Shabbat Shalom

After a few weeks away from my desk while we relocated to the other side of the UK, it's a privilege to share thoughts for prayer again.

It is good to give thanks to God. We are created to worship. God blesses us when we commune with Him. If we deny our Father in heaven our praise, we deny ourselves the tremendous blessing and fulfilment that He gives us as we lift our praise to Him.

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy."
Psalm 92:1-6

GIVE THANKS that whatever we see and experience around us in the world, God is always faithful and always with us. He has made a way for us to come into His presence through Yeshua who is our saviour and who sits at the right hand of our Father interceding for us.

Evacuation Of Amona

This village, within Judea and Samaria, is on land that has been claimed as Palestinian. The Israeli government has asked for the evacuation of this village in keeping with it's legal obligation. It is very sad for the residents who believe that this land is theirs to dwell upon.

PRAY for those who have lost their homes and place of worship.

PRAY that God will work His purposes through this seemingly wrong removal of Jews from the land.

PRAY for wisdom to be given to the authorities in dealing with the relocating of those dispossessed.

PRAY that the 40 or so families who will be housed elsewhere will know peace and comfort in their distress.

PM Netanyahu To Visit UK

This Monday Prime Minister Netanyahu is due to visit Theresa May in London. There are anti-Israel protests planned. The Zionist Federation are planning a counter demonstration.

The visit is important as PM Netanyahu cancelled his previous visit in protest at the UK voting for a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlements.

GIVE THANKS for the visit of PM Netanyahu.

PRAY that the dialogue between the two leaders will be warm, cordial and productive.

PRAY for stronger links between the UK and Israel and a mutual support.

PRAY that any anti-Israeli demonstrations will not disrupt the visit.

PRAY for those who protest to understand the that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and an important nation who suffer unjust condemnation.

PRAY that Theresa May will be wise and strong; that she will have clear understanding of what the Bible says about the land of Israel and lead the UK in supporting Jewish claims on the land.

Israeli Relations With The United States

PM Netanyahu continues from the UK to the US and other countries after that.

PRAY that the dialogue between Netanyahu and Trump will be cordial and that the US will renew its support for Israeli that has wained during the Obama years.

PRAY that Netanyahu will be clear and wise in the meetings with other leaders.

Thank you for joining with us to pray. May God bless you.
